Body Contouring (Collar Bones)
Health & Safety:
- Ensure the model Is not allergic to any of the products that you are planning to use
- Create consultation notes
- Cover the models clothing to avoid damaging them
- Ensure you have a tidy working space to avoid losing and spilling products
Tools:
- Contouring shade 1-2 shades darker than your client’s skin tone
- Fluffy brush
- Moisturiser
- Cleanser
- Toner
- Concealer shade 1-2shades lighter than your client’s skin tone
- Large fluffy brush
- Clothes wrap
Directions
- Cover the client’s clothes with a wrap to avoid damaging them
- Cleanse, tone and moisturise the client’s collar bones to remove any oils from the skin
- Ask the client to turn their head to the right so the left-hand side of their neck/collar bones become more prominent
- Using the contour shade on a fluffy brush apply this to the hollows and shadows on the collar bones and neck to make the shape more prominent
- To create further depth, take the concealer shade on a fluffy brush and apply it to the high points of the collar bones and neck to add highlights
- Using a large fluffy brush, blend the concealer and contour shade together to create a seamless contoured effect and repeat on the other side
- This contouring an highlighting trick can be applied to most areas of the body to create a toned and chiselled effect
